I think another part of the problem when calling it “one of the best ever” is looking now through the lens of time what a wet fart season 5 is compared to the rest of the seasons.

As an enjoyer of the Office and despiser of cilantro, I support this interpretation.

He’s a big reason why Clueless is so great.

I was seriously coming to the comments just to make the exact same observation. He didn’t stand out to me as capital-T Tall in Dracula...

I can think of at least 2 things wrong with that title...

It’s true for a lot of life! How do you know what good is if there’s no bad?

Exactly this. In fact, I don’t think I actually knew it was Pixar until I read something about it. Everything about it screams Dreamworks to me, which isn’t necessarily bad, but just...not Pixar.

I both love Maximillian for being terrifying, and also for what little sense he makes as a robot. What was his primary function supposed to be, other than murdering people with spinning blades of death?

I still have a soft spot for it, even with all the huge flaws. I like seeing Robert Forster in his prime in a lead role, before he got consigned to playing Middle Eastern terrorists and his career resurrection with Jackie Brown.

And he’s been Cobra Commander, he’s got experience playing masked supervillains already!

Good argument overall but I really love “It makes no sense to replace something simple and reliable with a far more complicated, power-hungry technology whose default failure mode is nonexistence.”

Also, it doesn’t take much legwork to figure out that the Mr. Big Shot actor Bruce Campbell was talking about was Bruce Willis in Striking Distance.

Legitimate question here- I’ve never heard of bark mulch referred to as tanbark before, is that a regional thing?

Same- The kid really sunk the movie for me. I wasn’t crazy about Sam Rockwell’s “What if Bill Murray’s character from Meatballs worked at a water park” character either.

Your Highness is very uneven; there are some parts that are really, really funny but it can be really terrible in spots.

They’ll never be able to cast Cumberbatch and Laurie in the same film doing an American accent because only one of them at a time can use that exact same voice they do.

Not a movie- Game of Thrones, when the Hound and Arya come across the king’s men at the inn.

I support this interpretation

For such a trashy monster movie it has a hell of a cast!

1/2 agree. His smarminess is great in Nip/Tuck but his Dr. Doom is a top 5 all-time casting misfire for me.
