Irony, thy name is unblockvideos.com

Distant Origin is one of my favorite episodes of any of the series, I love the concept that one of the few species that have figured out trans-warp and live way out in the Delta quadrant started out as dinosaurs here.

Yes. I’m as big a fan as anybody, I was there for the original trilogy in the theaters, but the animated stuff doesn’t hold any interest for me. It’s interesting to me seeing all the fervent fans of the shows trying to invalidate your opinion by saying their opinions are better and you don’t “get it”.

He and Billy the Kid bonded well though as the first two taken (after dropping Napoleon off). I love how game Billy is, he’s up for whatever.

So you made it like 98% of the way through the movie then.

It’s the only 3D movie I’ve ever seen where I was legitimately impressed with the quality of the depth of field it gave.

I loved the derisive term for those people- Avatards.

Hugh Jackman has said as much too. These guys are doing push-ups or curls or something immediately before takes so they have the bulged vein ripped to shreds look like a huge jacked man.

100%. Maybe my biggest issue with the show. I couldn’t buy the Backstreet Boys reject as a wannabe bounty hunter last week either.

Yes- I guess I wasn’t explicit enough, but the arrogrance was very much of the “I’m the star QB” variety.

Anecdotal, obvs., but in my limited experience you are 100% correct. I’ve had both of my shoulders done almost 20 years apart. When I had the first one done, I thought “Wow, what an arrogant asshole this doctor is.”. Then 17 years later, other shoulder, same doctor- “Wow, this guy is still an arrogant asshole.”.

Lorne Michaels even says he can guess a person’s age pretty accurately based on when they say SNL was “the best”.

Sonny Landham (Billy) ran for governor of Kentucky too!

I really hope they’re planning a big win for Jared to end the series on, because as you said Les, that was needlessly cruel and was too mean-spirited for me.

Elizabeth Moss as Peggy in Mad Men is one of the great acting performances in American TV. Go back and watch from the first season, when she’s just a young girl fresh out of Miss Deever’s secretary school compared to where she ends up. Her voice is even different in the early seasons when she’s less sure of herself

And gave us possibly the best Roger line of them all-

“You finally found a hooker that takes traveler’s checks?”

Maybe I missed it last week, but I haven’t seen it mentioned that the lead Hooli investor is Doc from The Love Boat!

If nothing else, the original film gave my the opportunity to come up with my parody-title, Fanstastic Beats And Where To Rhyme Them.

Anyone who describes themselves that way is a guaranteed 100% asshole.
