Something Wicked This Way Comes is a great, legitimately scary movie.

Color me unsurprised that Ethan Hawke would think this.

Seriously, and all while being as long as 2 aircraft carriers back-to-back.

Hanging Mjolnir on the coat rack got a yuuuuuuge laugh in my theater...

The organic vs. mechanical shooters kerfuffle was my first experience with INO (Internet Nerd Outrage).

Fury Road is absolutely one of my top 5 movies and I almost agree with you, except I can watch it over and over because the ending to me actually seems to be filled with hope about their future.

Yes, was just wondering the same thing myself. Two is...fine, but I legitimately enjoy 3.

I can never put it into words this concisely, but this is a huge part of it- That by rejecting accepted fact and believing they’re part of the select few who know the real truth, it makes them special.

It hurts my brain to even begin to try to think about the tortured logic they use to convince themselves that something that is so unequivocally, demonstratively true is the lie and they’re the ones who know what’s really goin’ on maaaan.

I’m pretty sure I’ve read before (but too lazy to look now) that Metropolis is a stand-in for Toronto, which works pretty well.

Come on, Newark, obvs.

But even then- The whole things is beautifully summarized in 2 sentences.

And even if not directly across a bay from each other, I would have always assumed they were relatively close anyway- I think most of us have always assumed they’re stand-ins for NYC in their own ways, so at the very least both would be in the Northeast, like a Philly-NYC, or NYC-DC, a relatively short drive.

I, for one, welcome her being in every single movie that comes out from now on.

I’m as big a comic book movie fan as there is, but I just can’t muster any enthusiasm for this. Other people have said it better below- Venom is only interesting (to most of us, it seems) in relation to Spider-Man, not on his own.

I’m pretty impressed with Bautista’s classic full name including middle initial as well. It wouldn’t look out of place on the Declaration of Independence!

I think that’s exactly it- With that name, you’d think that it MUST be cool, it’s the International Criminal Police Organization for cripes’ sakes!

That’s the thing with the Hulk- Brute strength yes, but he’s not exactly a skilled fighter, which doesn’t matter when you’re stronger than 99% of everyone else. But the 3 times we saw him fight someone at or near his strength before Thanos, he’s had his ass handed to him for a pretty solid stretch in two of them

What, no The Great Train Robbery? I hope that it’s actually true and not urban legend that the scene of the guy firing directly at the camera (audience) caused more than a couple of Code Browns...

Maybe she’s confusing herself with her great-grandfather?
