OK, I’ll say it- This has aged poorly now that we’ve seen what heights can be achieved with the comic book genre being fully embraced. It’s downright hokey in spots.
Fury Road is undeniably great, but you consider 2015 years ago??
My favorite new quote is from Clancy Brown’s recent Random Roles-
Too soon
That reminds me of a scene in an 80's movie I can’t remember when the main characters are in a police station, and the desk sargeant points out a guy sitting on a bench and says “See that guy? He’s a moporist (sp?), he exposed himself to a blind man.”
That’s exactly it- There were a bunch of times I’d be thinking “I bet they thought this was really funny when they were doing it”. It was just too loose.
This movie was the first time I was ever aware that the dialogue was just a bit too ad-libbed and could have used a little more scripting.
She’s still too young and has too many years of working ahead of her. You need some grizzle and dust on the interviewee to get the really stellar “Ah, f**k it” answers that Will is so good at drawing out...
I really liked her as Avery Jessup on 30 Rock.
Do I what now?
I would have thought the same thing (also in New England) until I discovered this brand Friendship, which I have only been able to find at Stop’n’Shop so far. It’s amazing, as far as cottage cheese goes.
I eat cottage cheese and yogurt (separately, not combined) for breakfast every day of the work week.
Here’s hoping season 2 will be a prequel:
DON’T: Shit in the middle of the trail
Same- Season 10 is my Maginot Line. I’ve seen 8 of the top 10 on this list and nary an episode for 11 - 29.
FLIM
SPRINGFIELD
Slightly off-topic, but Cuttino Mobley is one of the all-time great sports names.
Multiplicity isn’t good per say, but damned if I don’t find myself watching for a bit any time I catch it, just because it’s Keaton. I particularly like the 2nd, fastidious clone, and Andie McDowell’s look of horror as he’s explaining his tinfoil-folding method.
220...221, whatever it takes.
