Your axe must be worn down to a nub by now.

In fact you could make a pretty strong argument that Berlusconi set the modern-day blueprint for a business buffoon with no government experience becoming the highest elected official of the country...
It’s interesting how many of these movies are in my personal “Better than average” list, with a couple of them even “Really good”.
It took me a couple of viewings to realize that Hackman said “I was building a house” there.
At least he’s going with a more age-appropriate colored wig these days...
Conventional wisdom would point to the computer being installed in the office being the thing that finally broke poor Ginsburg, but I think it happened right here and it just took a little while to fully register.
Speaking of Irish, if the fate of the world rested on determining who is the most hangdog, who would win- Tommy Lee Jones or Stephen Rea?
Jones’ Irish accent has got nuttin’ on Bridges’ Bahstan accent, it’s wicked bad.
Same
Probably my favorite comic moment from any of the movies. It’s the grimace after he says it that really seals it.
I think people who don’t like these movies like to use the term as if saying it will make it true, yet the reality is these last 2 have ludicrously successful, both will be well over $1BB when it’s all settled.
They make me think of the red balls from Minority Report...
I never pass up an opportunity for my favorite quote from Perry:
Forward progress!!!
To this day I still get Dermot McDermott and Dylan Mulroney confused.
I actually find it funnier than the first one, Lloyd Bridges is great as the President. Rowan Atkinson being incredibly peevish and ungrateful after being rescued as well.
The Martin Sheen/Apocalypse now gag is one of the best things in ANY comedy, it’s so perfect.
I was just going to post the same thing- Are these people living in an alternate reality that I don’t know about? Particularly here in the Northeast after our depressing winters, as soon as the thermometer passes 70, shorts wearage among men on weekends/leisure time is somewhere around 99-100%.
I was just the right age to get the full force of both Star Wars and G.I. Joe. 8-year old me was treated to both ROTJ figures and the first wave of G.I. Joes that had the extra swivel in the arm- guys like Snow Job, Doc, Destro, etc.
Whoa whoa whoa, why complicate things with an entirely separate spur? Just make a cut-out for a bedpan...
