I have been driving a Zoe for the last 17 months (Germany). As a car, it is terrible: outdated infotainment that crashes frequently, jerky suspension, soulless steering, holes in open sheet metal in the trunk, creaking doors, rear door handles that break your fingernails, etc. But that electric drivetrain makes up

Actually, if the pricing is the same as here (Germany), the V60XC will be considerably more expensive. Here the base V60 goes for 37,500€, with trims up to 44,950€, while the V60 Cross Country starts at 52,350€(!)

Nice Lexus IS you got there

So basically they are applying the German model to the American market. Here, new cars are almost always ordered from the factory via the dealer. We don’t buy new cars off lot (where they usually only keep a few for test drives), but order them individually.

I always thought that the Nissan Pulsar was completely pointless. Never saw too many of them, either.

Well, this is a mixed bag. I really like the design - bit of Range Rover Velar at the back and a Mercedes’ take on the new VW Touareg at the front, but distinctive enough and quite good looking.

The new Z4 looks absolutely horrendous among all those beauties, imo. Especially those black flaps in the lower grille and the cheese grater main grille.

First generation Opel Astra. Not a feature as such but easily done. I thought it would be easier to clean in the kitchen... Never done it again since.

Sunday morning, minutes before setting of for a long road trip, I discovered some dirt on the rear view mirror. No problem, I pop it off the little ball joint and clean it thoroughly. I must have put a bit too much pressure on the joint when putting the mirror back on, the entire windscreen shattered. So, no road trip

I love how Porsche keeps the windshield relatively upright and side windows larger than most sports car makers. Makes it so much easier to see out.

True. I mostly mod for comfort, not speed or handling, but the new summer tires I got for my e-class this year are amazingly quiet and much more comfortable on the road.

Cruise control. My previous car didn’t have it as standard but I had it installed by the dealership after a year of ownership. Can’t believe I survived without it before.

I once took a brand new Mazda6 wagon for a test drive on the Autobahn. At about 180kph I discovered that the brake pedal did the “ABS-shake” at the slightest touch, constantly. I was alone (no sales rep comes along here), so I just limped it back and returned it white faced...

Will it baby, i.e. will a stroller fit in the trunk?

It’s an outdated emissions standard. We have since seen Euro 6, Euro 6d and (believe it or not), “Euro 6d TEMP”.

I actually really like the rear looks on this. Kind of reminds me of a 90s Pathfinder.

Oh, this is a good one (most of these are inspired by my otherwise lovely kids):

Not impressed. Somehow it looks like the love-child of a BMW Gina Concept and a W204 Merc C-Class that’s melted in the sun:

This is a great idea! Around here most packages are delivered to the nearest post office every day, since nobody is ever at home.

Lots (though some are more OCD habits than superstitions, I suppose):
