The other conspiracy people often cite is that Square doesn’t want to pay royalties to Kako Someya and Faye Wong, who respectively, wrote the lyrics, and performed the game’s title track, “Eyes on Me”. I personally don’t buy it though, but I suppose it’s possible.

Steam and PC sales might also be an indicator, as FF8

more like hamilton trollan am i right

You’ve obviously never seen the original He-Man or She-Ra, because those were some of the cheapest and most poorly animated cartoons of the 1980s.

New She-Ra is LEAGUES better than the old crap in terms of animation quality and story telling. You’re just being a fucking piss ant about it.

Elon isn’t going to fuck you, relax

I’m not under any delusions there’s racism in America

sorry you got glitter in your car

Sounds like a real gamble to me.

And these are all fair criticisms, but none of it has to do solely with the decision to use P2P versus dedicated servers; Nintendo’s online infrastructure just usually sucks. It’s always felt like this thing they are doing begrudgingly.

The Peer to Peer vs. Dedicated Servers thing is really blown out of proportion, in that, it’s pretty common for console games to use peer to peer connections and has been for a really long time.

THANK YOU HELL YES THEY DO

The Soaps people are STOKED.

Sincere thank you for not putting up a screengrab of the incident as the header image or embedding the clip in this article.

I wonder which Licensed Property No One Asked For a Movie Of trope this is going to eventually go with; Sonic gets sucked into THE REAL WORLD and hijinx ensue, a kid gets sucked into SONIC’S WORLD and wacky adventure ensues, or DELAYED DELAYED DELAYED CANCELED

also can Danny DeVito voice Sonic, since the Pikachu thing

See, if they had just put all of that information in a canvas bag like they promised, none of this would have happened.

MOBAs pretty much killed it. That, and the way the microtransaction ecosystem has...evolved, for lack of a better term.

I personally rarely trust consumer reviews on Steam, and I really don’t think platforms need them. If a game is bad or has significant problems, there are plenty out places for that information to exist, that won’t be subject to abuse or review brigading that makes it misleading for people not plugged into some

there was definitely a point where either Jim Davis, or the person pretending to be Jim Davis, said “fuck it”

i think they got the garfield thing right

the pewdiepie c.h.u.d.s in the grays telling me “actually no racism is funny” and “YOU DON’T GET HIM” really aren’t doing your boy any favors
