Don't waste your time on Shopper for the iPhone. It's slow loading, has a clunky interface, difficult to use and what's really bad- you get ads thrown at you (both on the main screen in the photo above as well as in your *actual* list, i.e. if you chose "Ketchup" as a list item, you'll see a small photo of Hunts with

So food actually lasts longer because.... the container is made out of glass?

.

@timgray: Yikes, scary how you're talking like you know anything about dslrs and videocams. You might want to let folks know that this is only your opinion and not fact.

An even better thing is to buy a 3" concave mirror at your local Wal Mart automotive section for $5 and affix it to the outer edge of your driver mirror, you'll have full coverage even seeing into the next lane. I have a 09 Altima that, because of the design of the nonexistant back side windows, forces me to use the

You don't need access to a sandblaster- just go down to your local Michaels or arts and crafts store and purchase a jar of glass etching cream.

Very informative- kudos for posting this because lord knows i've always wondered how to empty heat out of a car! This has inspired me to write an article entitled "How to boil Water", "How to open an Envelope", "How to pour Cereal" and other similar guides for people born with no Common Sense. :)

I drink substandard office coffee all week so i can look forward to making my cappuccino's with my espresso maker. Sure it's a lot of work- pour milk in a bowl and microwave it for a minute to froth it, put coffee in the little hopper, pour water in the machine, turn it on and wait 20 seconds... wait, doesn't this

How does it handle having audio burned to a virtual cd rom where you can then extract the files?

Read a lot of user reviews of the Eye Fi cards and seems a lof of folks have had issues with this cards and esp. transfer speeds to the point that they were better off not getting it at all.

Isn't it nice to trust your personal data and files with companies all because they offer some sort of free service? Or better some startup that makes the news months later after they've had their data (yours) compromised by hackers? You might as well create your next email address using your full SSN or Visa card

@TessCulver: Bouncing light off a wall or ceiling is *not* the same as using a beauty dish- what you are referring to is using a bounce as a fill light. A beauty dish or ring flash focuses light on a tight area on a subject giving it a certain look specific to this type of style. It's great for getting catch lights in

Tom Siebert and his photography blog, [www.lightandpixels.com] actually took the ideas of Tejada and a few other beauty dish diy designs and with the help of the folks from [www.strobist.blogspot.com], made a very nice tutorial of his which includes a swiveling mirror that allows you to tune it to get a smooth sweet

@Tony Bullard: There *is* a search engine for FedEx... i use it all the time in FF.

Yes, after using Downloadthemall, you wonder why there are download apps out there that even charges money when DTA does everything and more for free.

FOR EVERYONE STILL GETTING v7 AFTER INSTALLING 8:

It's very hobo looking. Actually, not very- REALLY hobo looking.

Vote: AnyDVD & CloneDVD. Easiest and better than anything out there. And remember, the developer of AnyDVD is the one responsible for defeating blu-ray and HD encryption (and continuing to defeat it). AND updates app when movies come out with newer protection. No other developer i know of does that.

For point and shoot (I use a canon elph sd500), putting your index finger over the entire flash works very well - i get a nearly balanced histogram when shooting in indoor lighting at night. You'd be surprised how much light can pass through your finger. Plus unlike a coffee filter, you can stir your coffee with it.
