Oh good, another article where the write jacks off to his own faux-outrage.

"Take that, take that, take that" - Puffy

IT'S WU MOTHAFUCKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Yeah but Bombs over Baghdad was like 3 years later.

Just go to a theater with assigned seating.

That's fucked up

I get what you're saying, but this is different.

This comes off like you're ascribing your own personal beliefs to a movie that shows none of what you're describing.

It was a heart healthy omelette you bitch.

I'm completely ok with 300 being dumb. It's sword and sandals without trying to shoehorn in any manner of epic sweeping vista shots, it's like if you cut half the plot out of Troy, jacked the battles up and cranked the saturation to 11.

I always thought it was a coyote which made a little more sense to me. Coyotes are all over the deserts outside of the valley but don't usually venture into the city. Seeing one in the city is like saying the animals are taking over or something. I dunno.

His growling, gruff cigarette-laced American accent grunting out "Two Bacardi muh-heetos, darlin'." cracks me the fuck up every time.

Her calmness in that scene is awesome too. She starts talking, then kind of composes herself and starts over, and the whole time you're thinking "This lady is going to fuck this guy's night up real good, don't mess with her."

I JUST said that in another comment. Your exact sentiment. I hated that the directors cut adding an opening, I loved the smash straight into the club in the theatrical and felt like it was so much better. It ends similarly and feels like you just got to peek in on a slice of their lives but that so much more

It really was. Funny enough, the nighttime grain that appears because of shooting in full digital actually seemed to add to the mood since they shot a lot of it on handheld. It was like being part of an episode of Cops: Undercover.

I really feel like the Kingdom of Heaven debacle plus his complete pussification in this movie (well…that and Elizabethtown) was sort of the death knell for Orlando Bloom as an It-boy in Hollywood, more or less.

It really does improve the movie simply by embracing its WWE-level battles and spattering blood everywhere. It fleshes out a lot of those subplots that no one gave 2 shits about, which is nice.

The modern feminist movement and emancipation weren't exactly big in ancient Greece, dude.

QUESTIONABLE?

Wait what? Hahahaha this is great.
