I think I understand what you're saying. I haven't heard that particular expression in regard to Obama as he was raised pretty middle class.

When I started waitressing during college I had never actually heard of celiac disease, and we receive very few (if any) gluten free requests.

Bonuses and discounts aren't things we 'need' or are necessarily 'owed', so I don't know that that is the best comparison for an abuse of power...plus I don't think anything really keeps people from making requests like that anyway.

I know. I'm surprised 'Ted' didn't list when 'Henry' went to the dentist or grocery store. He was very detailed, and we work with at risk youth, so not only was/is it pretty scary, it's a huge issue for our agency and clients safety and confidentiality.

One of my good friends will drink a beer or glass of wine in front of her recovering alcoholic husband (6 years sober). It really bothers me, but they both act like it's totally fine, so I haven't commented since my initial statement.
