I used to say the same thing (why is there a backup camera in a Miata?)....

What are you expecting? 4k?

It could be viewed as reckless endangerment, which in most states is a Class A Misdemeanor or Class D Felony - Which comes with jail time.

Exactly.

You are correct, but if you have the fob with you (at least for my Mazda) there is a physical key inside that you can put into the steering column and it will start.

I’ve asked this question when shopping, and was told: “in case the battery dies while driving.”

And who is to say those people would have forgotten to turn off the car in general even if they had a physical key in the ignition.

The newest MS3 was 2013, and the sticker on that was 18 city / 25 highway. They’re getting what was advertised.

Fuel Economy for a ‘13 MS3 is 18 city / 25 highway. I average around 21 MPG with mine, I’m getting what I was “told” I would be getting, so I’m happy with it.

Or you could, I dunno, actually think they are telling the truth and think objectivly.

I can only hope that when (if) ‘Save the World’ goes F2P, that people will jump on that as well and they’ll put development time and money towards it. As it stands, the story isn’t finished, and in the four zones the same models and maps are used, it’s very repetitive and it’s getting very boring.

We have a road like that too, a business loop around the city. The speed limit is 55, but the flow of traffic is around 70 / 75 .

You wanna know what will keep sales flowing? The inevitable commonality of the 144+ month loan..... “Sir, you can EASILY afford the 14.9% APR if we extend the payments out to 180 months.... an affordable $315 per month!” Because people are dumb as fuck and will eventually accept this....

Back in 2011 I got our mail carrier fired (I don’t know if they filed charges against him or not) for doing something similar.

That’s the biggest issue right now. I read a news story about the laws here in Indiana. A lot of tickets were written, but were thrown out because they contest the ticket and just say they were ‘looking down at something’ or ‘changing the radio station’. They need to have photographic proof that they were texting and

That’s where a system like OnStar would come into play (antenna outside the cage). Or maybe a type of cage / EM field that shut off if it detects an accident or if the vehicle is in park. I have no idea if that is even possible or not.

I just got a ‘05 Jeep Grand Cherokee for the winter, and I’m shocked at the amount of people I can see on their phones now. It’s a stupid amount. I’ve even seen people almost run stop lights, then instantly look back down at their phones, not even phased by what they almost did.

Ah damn, I missed this one.

Nah.

I firmly believe the ones in my city are controlled by people who hate their lives and watch the intersections day and night.
