That’s exactly it. It’s using the lines on the road to steer. We have a Mazda with the lane “warning” system, and it goes off all the time because the lines on the roads are shit, and the system freaks out.
I have no idea what the rules / laws are over any of this, but, lets say someone did get shot and killed while crossing, couldn’t that be an act of war?

I like this method; however, it could get confusing with cards that can do debit and credit. Some terminals don’t give you the option of how you want it run.
I believe my bank checks with your profile and blocks things like birthdays, phone number, social, address, etc... As long as they have the information on file. Obviously they won’t have it all...

I’ve had something similar happen to me over the past few weeks with a few websites I frequent.
