Mid-engine pickup?? Hell! How ‘bout a mid-engine minivan??!?!??

Now playing

Maybe they were building them for the Regio Esercito Italiano.

Audi says I should only replace my air filter every 55k miles. I’ve never really thought critically about that interval other than “That seems long, but they must know what they’re doing”.

Actually if you look closely to the outside front tire in the corners, the front camber is almost spot on. In the corners the surface of the tire gets almost flat to the ground because the body moves so much. For braking in a straight line though... nope.

And that’s why I never much cared for that suspension design. I always wondered why they didn’t make the beams run fronty/backy instead. After all, Chevy ran a rear suspension like that:

Gotta shed that heat. I don’t own anything with what I would call great brakes, although I think the 4 pot fronts on my 97 Land Cruiser are pretty beefy given the age of the vehicle.

Jim Jones actually used Flavor Aid, not Kool Aid. He was a cheap bastard.

It’s a little strange this purple people-mover was at the show at all

ST205 Celica GT-Four

That’s not even the one we want!

I have this ‘79 4x4 with 64,000 miles that is completely stock and almost 100% original. I’m the second owner, bought it from my dad in ‘85. It is probably my favorite vehicle of all time. You don’t want to know what it cost to replace the decals.

Doesn’t want: Something with a lot of maintenance.

That’s even better than the old Ram’s “Great Cornholio” mirrors

There you have it, internet. I have fixed the Silverado HD!

More to the point, Aardman has the Shaun the Sheep and Timmy Time series, which are dialogue-free, designed for young children, and delightful for everyone.

In the same vein: Shaun the Sheep

A great addition here - not *entirely* dialogue-free, but the Wallace and Gromit shorts + feature film are great for kids of ALL ages and definitely hit on the points you mention above. Plus, depending on your kid’s age, you could have a great conversation afterwards about the fine differences in American/British

I’m far more disappointed in the laziness of all the “Tell Us About / These Are Your” stories than with anything Torch does. I mean, why bother having writers if you’re just going to crowdsource and compile?

Honestly cars like these are far more interesting than whatever dreck manufacturers like McLaren and Ferrari are putting out. Oooh it can go 250 mph and it has a zillion horsepower. The most those cars will do is 15mph being pootled around Monaco or in and out of some oil baron’s garage.
