How many people actually land a $60k job right out of college these days? I have a feeling it’s not the majority.

I don’t know, as I make twice that and didnt finish college. Although, my employer has a internship program and I would have to think after they graduate they make at least that.

If a mod voids the warranty then it’s short sighted. That doesn’t mean it’s not worth it.

The eBay turbo, shitty chip and fart can have entered the EV age! There has always been a cohort who wants more performance on the cheap and its nice to see that they’ve found a way to bring terrible short sighted mods to the Model 3.

My dad had personalized plates on his ‘88 Honda Accord Coupé that said “TORCHY.”

You may not have given it to a bondsman directly. There is a very good chance that the either transaction would have taken place with the same person at the Sheriff’s office.  Bondsmen don’t hang around at the jail, they just have an agreement with the cops/courts to cover the 90% for the potential 100% they get back

You know, I never really found out. I think they did figure it out, but we weren’t informed or anything, and Mr.Bull had a rough go in the years after this, I believe ending in suicide.

As I read this I kept getting distracted by the thought “I wonder if every single person in his family is nicknamed “Torch”.  I’m gonna bet “Yes”.

Thanks for this; that seems like exactly what happened. At 16, all I really did was hear the smaller amount, which I must have given to a bondsman.

I assume what he posted was bond. Bail is refunded, bond is not.

It’s a give and take. Sometimes you tow the boat, other times the boat tows you.

That’s the thing I don’t think Debjoy appreciates. There’s no such thing as a “free” boat. It’s useful to think of boat ownership like a trip to a strip bar. It’s fun, but the price of the boat is just the cover charge. You’re going to pay for every bit of entertainment and your boat is going to be nagging you for

Unless you are a diehard boat enthusiast, in which case you would already know what to do here, sell the boat, put the $60k toward a car that actually makes sense for your city lifestyle, and use the boat money to rent someone else’s boat on the 3-4 days a year you actually go out on the water.

when’s the last year there was a 2 door Yukon?

This is what I use to tow mine. Works great despite the boat being right at the edge of the tow limits and towing at elevation.

Easy Answer, but requires a lot of work.

Thank you.

1829 or earlier, but it’s OK, we’ve kept it perfectly preserved.
