Most cars don’t increase in value after 125,000 miles and 27 years of use, even after accounting for inflation.

I like to think there’s a “START” chain hanging from the headliner, like a ceiling fan.
You should see how they drive in China. It’s plenty exciting.
Those are some thicc headrests.
Agree. Saturn would have been the perfect place for GM to start rolling out PHEVs and EVs. Instead they had a token Volt or Bolt stashed in the back of the Chevy lot to make sure the showroom has space for Silverados and Tahoes.
Saturn. I have always thought killing Saturn was extremely short-sighted, but that’s GM for you. Although the products were lackluster at the end, Saturn had some brand equity among the *general public* (i.e. not “car guys” and fanbois). The customer service approach was good, and most people (again, not car “enthusias…
If those ZAP Xebras and Wildfire WF650s that were brought in several years ago are any indication, the car itself will technically last, in the sense that it will still function, but it will age at a significantly accelerated rate. I’d expect it to look and feel 15 year old car with 200,000 miles after about 12 months…
But those things seem to hold up really well. They are well-built. As soon as Jason opened the hood of this car I could tell its absolutely cheap as hell and he will probably be lucky if it lasts a year. The GEMS around my office are used like little pickup trucks. The maintenance guys, cafeteria workers, lawn car…
The gem cars are the bomb, but priced really high too. Hospital near me has a 6-8 seater. That mother is huuuge.
It looks almost exactly like the GEM brand electric vehicles driven by the security folks at our office.
Don’t come to Ohio.
I would expect a golf cart to last several years.
Had this problem with the tach on a 1970 TR6. But then again with a car like that you sort of expect stuff like this. Anyway, the speedo is simple - a spinning magnet driven by the cable magnetically drags a metal disc placed very close to it against the force of a hair spring. The disc is attached to the needle, the…
Oh man I can’t wait to join him on the Detroit Gambler 500, whenever that happens.
Same here, after NPoCP every morning I look forward to the Tracy and Torch articles the most.
I feel like this is the most David Tracy of issues to have with a vehicle.
What’s the Changli’s towing capacity? I’d rather drive it back than that thing.
You should snake that vent, just because it doesn’t look clogged doesn’t mean it isn’t. It could be both issues working together. You could use a brake bleeding suction device to see if anything comes out of that vent so you don’t push anything back into the case.
LOL!
