Usually I’m the first to defend failed projects. Businesses fail, it’s part of life. But if you raise $660,000, and fail to deliver something, anything, then you’re shit eating moron.

First, forget the rewards, give small amounts to lots of projects you believe in. Second, it’s easy to spot the people who are being too ambitious. Look for small teams and make sure they have a seasoned software engineer on the project.

Having used the HoloLens for an extended period, people are in for a ton of disappointment. It’s no where close to their mock ups and 3rd person camera view.
