Luckily I can just say “everyone, get out” and everyone other than my sous chef will leave.

My plan has always been to just die. So...yeah. There’s that.
By then I might be able to get my hands on a PS5.
I agree. I enjoyed 3 and 4, but I loved two. I enjoyed how it was like GTA but didn’t take itself nearly as seriously.
I’ve always found it difficult for me to figure out how I feel about this type of game. I’ve been playing Civ for around 20 years or so. I start this (or Old World) off easy ‘cuz I’m just learning it. But then I’m bored so I think I dislike the game instead of starting over on a higher difficulty. I think I’m at this…
I think I’m the only one in the world, but I just could not get into Death’s Door. I loved the art and music, but the fighting just didn’t grab me.
The best thing we’ve done to reduce paper towels is I bought a bunch of small white towels and put them rolled up in a basket. I also put a small, decent looking hamper, out of the way but easily accessible. That way I’m more likely to reach for a towel while cleaning. Then I can bleach them when they’re dirty.
The Pokemon card thing is so annoying. I just want to play with my daughter! I just want a few booster packs to open every friday together.
I hope they fix the US prior to the Civil War chain of events. It was so tedious.
So do y’all think she’ll be the top of the ticket in ‘24 or do you think she’ll wait until ‘28?
Once paper towels started getting hard to find last year, I got a small hamper for the basement door and started using small towels instead of paper towels. Having the hamper meant I could use it once and then simply put it to be washed.
Up until now, I didn’t have anything against John; he was just like every other new 2nd LT fresh out of the academy. Nothing will happen to him, though. “Captain America” killed a vaguely ethnic-looking terrorist. You really think the American government or people will care? A not-insignificant number of people will…
I’m surprised Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts isn’t on there. It’s an interesting cartoon that’s completely wrapped and tells a complete story.
This came out at the right time. I wrote a children’s book and am currently researching literary agents (a few publishers take direct submissions, but not many, and definitely not any of the big names).
One thing this pandemic has ruined is asteroid movies. Now, if there was a life-destroying asteroid, I do not think the world would band together to stop it. Instead, half of the government would say the asteroid was a hoax while they buy stock in a company that builds bunkers.
One issue with that is it’s not like in 1861 where there were distinct regional lines. I mean, in California you go twenty miles inland you’re in Alabama. Same with a lot of other states.
I’ve started using The Storygraph. They do better tracking and it’s less obnoxious than Goodreads. Plus, it’s not owned by Amazon.
I was laid off and am applying to job. JFC this is all a miserable experience. I am working with a career counselor and I specifically asked this question and he said, while PDF does help with formatting, you should do word because ATS and there are times when a HR might want to copy/paste information to send to other…
Who the fuck tips their landlord? I’m already paying their mortgage and property taxes.
When I saw the title I thought, “I bet this is a white guy.” And yup...sure enough. Lol
