I saw it with a buddy and after the movie he pointed out that I laughed at a few lines and he chalked it up to me being former military.

Yup. It got good reviews and it even extended its theatrical run. It’ll be on streaming in September.

Funnily enough, I’ve just started buying physical media again the last few months. Well, at least my favorites. The last thing I’d want is for a streaming service to decide randomly to stop having what I want.

What software do you use to rip it? I have a ton of DVDs that I need to upload to my computer. 

Bojack Horseman is a contender. In fact, it actually caused AV Club to change how they review series from then on out.

Thanks for the heads up. I put a reminder on my phone to buy one when they’re on sale so I’m not having to deal with this nonsense in December.

The thing I dislike most about the game is the era system. The idea of it is cool: dark age vs golden age. But I noticed I’d spend a good portion of my game thinking about the points. I’d prevent myself from doing something because I knew I was going to enter a new era soon and didn’t want to waste my points. 

I’m stoked to have less “You’re doing this wrong!” type headings. I stopped reading for quite a while because every time I’d go to this website I’d be called a failure at life. 

I really enjoyed the game and played it nonstop until I beat it, but I had two major issues with it:

I hope they revamp the era points system. I don’t mind running the risk of getting a dark age, but I found that I was postponing a few things (like discovering a continent) so that I could use those points for the upcoming era. 

I wish they’d redo that one. Being an eco-terrorist? Hell yeah!

Speaking of racing, I wish there were more types of races available. I’d get into running if all the races weren’t 5 or 10ks. I want to race a 200 meter race!
