As a wannabe scene kid in the early 2000s, it was very surreal for me to find out that not only is Jeffree Star still A Thing, but he’s actually even bigger than he was in the MySpace age (albeit only within the online make up community)

Fuck Khloe for that. It truly makes me sad that Kris will probably squash the story and get her some positive publicity and everyone will forget about it in a few months and she’ll go on being famous. I don’t hate the Kardashians, but I do think Khloe should be shunned and boycotted over this.

Agreed. It would be different if he was coming out with these stories in some attempt to help the victims, but he’s just leeching off MJ’s name, just like most of the people in his life did. I can’t imagine what kind of awful person you have to be to capitalise off the name of someone whose death you enabled.

If that’s true, it’s really sad and fucked up that no one stepped in there and got him help. I suppose when it comes to MJ, there are a lot of points someone should have stepped in... But to be 13 and wanting hormones to ward off puberty? All the red flags.

#SelenaGomezIsOverParty has produced some of the best GIFs and memes I’ve ever witnessed. Thank you, Twitter people. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Even if she did give it to him, I can’t imagine how skeezy you have to be to hold onto an item with so much emotional value. Like... What the fuck? What a dirtbag.

Eh, if that happened it would be pretty bullshit for the person who bought it. I wouldn’t buy Kurt Cobain’s guitar (as if I could afford it), but even if I did, I wouldn’t give it away no matter how much pressure the scorned daughter or public put on me.

This was beautifully written. I wish everyone thought like you (myself included, when it comes to my own body)

Fuck this woman. I don’t see why you’re defending her. She is not a good person, that is 100% for sure.

Even if they get married, have 7 kids and die peacefully in each other’s arms I will still never, ever believe this is real.

I’ve haven’t seen that episode of SNL, but wow... A comedian going for low hanging fruit like the Kardashains? Groundbreaking.

I agree with you 100%, that’s why I mentioned how important community support is. It seems like in the US, people do place a lot of importance on education. Where I’m from, it’s common for impoverished families to actually push their children to leave school to help look after the younger kids or get a job to help

Really? For some people it’s the only way they can show their solidarity... Yeah, sometimes it feels like people are jumping on the bandwagon of whatever event, but if the bandwagon is to express sympathy and well wishes I really don’t see what’s so awful about that

Facebook is the biggest tech company in the world, why should they hire anything less than the Mozarts?

Yup. I believe the only way to achieve anything resembling equality is to start at education. Things like affirmative action (if that’s what it’s called in the US) can only help so many people and end up being band-aid when the real problem is a lack of access to quality education from a young age, and the community

I would guess they’re outsourced... I don’t know about Facebook specifically, but a lot of large companies outsource cleaning/cooking staff to avoid having to deal with their pension funds, taxes, and so on.

I actually get where they’re coming from... I live in a country with a lot more poverty and bleaker education stats than the US, and many jobs that require specialised skills are filled by foreigners or people who were lucky enough to afford to study for X amount of years. The poor stay poor, and the people who can

Amy Schumer gets a lot of love around her but I find her consistently disappointing. Her whole shtick is being vulgar and provocative and it just makes me tired and bored.

I actually really like Kimmy Schmidt but I agree. It’s fine, but not great.

Yup. I made it through 3 seasons and 2 episodes of the fourth season. It just got so bad.
