I couldn't even believe that, and the writing into her doing coke was hilarious. Wasn't the guy's line something like, "Nothing takes the edge off like a hit of blow" or something? Hilarious.

Thanks, jerodast! He's doing well, and making a full recovery, so we're all very, very lucky!
I am ashamed to say I still haven't read Born Again. I may go back after I finish Bendis' run and read it. That's a topsy-turvy way of doing things, but man, I love Matt Murdock so much, I am not inclined to worry about it.
I am rereading Bendis' Daredevil, which is so fascinating to read whilst in the thick of Waid's Daredevil.
Oof, SAB was a bit too much for me this week. My father suffered some bleeding in his brain earlier this year, and a lot of the ground covered in this episode was eerily similar. He's fine now, in recovery, but man … there is absolutely nothing worse than sitting in a hospital waiting for information — especially for…
Man, I already mentioned this, but the BQM run on Batgirl meant so, so much to me, and still does. Stephanie is a amazing character, and the way Babs and Steph played off each other was such a breath of fresh air in a predominantly male universe. What other comic has the masked vigilante and her mentor handling the…
Can we talk about how Babs working with Steph and Cass as Oracle was completely and totally awesome and didn't need to change? Sigh …
I love that show unreasonably, so I think I'm more willing to go with whatever rerun appears. The one character who I found I never tired of, though, was Charles. Episodes like the one where he almost gets hits by a sniper and has a seriously strange reaction, or when he's trying to comfort the concert pianist who's…
I agree BJ's 'stache is the tipping point, but there are a couple of stand-out seriously great episodes in there after that. None of them are funny, but … And tellingly, BJ gets a LOT angrier once he grows that monstrosity. It's like it took over his personality.
Good point. On a sort of unrelated note, I think it's interesting that they gave the "learning to sign for Daphne" storyline to Angelo, as I remember waaaaay back in season 1(?), she was trying to get Wilke to sign for her, and he was resisting. I always wanted the writers to come back to that, and they finally did!
I would sell my left leg to see Wilke on the show again.
Oh, indeed. Good catch, and silly me.
I would love Wilke to come back. He was the only boyfriend of Daphne's I felt like had any potential, after whatever that was with RJ Mitte's character.
Oh, no. Who was Parker? Was this another Daphne relationship? WHY DON'T I REMEMBER PARKER?
I was sort of right last week that something bad was going to Angelo! I feel awful for feeling a little proud of my prediction, especially since it was a delight to watch Angelo and Daphne FINALLY connect after all this time. I haven't loved most of the Sorrento-Vasquez drama this season, Carrie, but you're right that…
I would LOVE IT if they told that story. I love Regina, but her blowing up and keeping secrets got old for me two secrets ago. I would love to see her openly grapple with how she views herself as a parent.
I'm gonna jump on this train, too. Best since "Uprising."
Agreed on the drop out of the subtitles. We got to see them in their world, on their terms. It was really beautiful to watch.
Oh, man, that was SUCH a hilarious moment. I also love how the two girls fit into the equation. Everybody likes someone, and everybody's kinda confused.
These shows keep me hip. I had no idea there was an app for the always torturous Spin The Bottle.
