Defender of the Crown is still a really good games, they have it on GOG, which is the version I played. It’s one of those classics I think deserves a modern update. Agree. Its like complaining about how realistic the grass looks in a Dark Souls game; it might be pretty when you examine it closely on purpose, but not something you pay any attention to while playing the game.

To me the movie would have to be based on a game with a rather simple or short storyline, because otherwise it would be too difficult for the movie to do the storyline justice without requiring sequels.
