Considering how well Florida DEP is managing the waste products from the sugar mills on the south side of Okeechobee I don’t see why they couldn’t manage to ensure this is done safely so it won’t leech into water supplies and soil causing untold environmental damage.
This reeks of landlords saying they want tenants to feel a sense of ownership in the unit they’re renting. But what they really mean is that the tenant is responsible for maintenance of the property under the rental agreement.
