Doing a little digging, using NYSADA because they’re the ones with an open letter unlike whatever CT’s organization is, it looks like the primary argument of these dealerships is that EV’s only comprise a small portion of registered vehicles. By requiring the dealers to invest in new tooling, training, and

I’ve only really ever been super pissed at a dealer once over charges.

Oh the MRP planners are going to fucking love this....

Come on, fuck around and find out. It might work until just after Christmas, but shit will really hit the fan shortly thereafter given how things are in the rail industry currently.

Toyota SF-R or GTFO.

I’ve driven everything from VW Beetles to 5000-gallon Freightliner fuel trucks. You get used to the size of the vehicle, but it’s interesting to watch how behavior changes with the size of the car.

I’m convinced that every boat interior is that same shade of contractor beige popularized by HGTV in the early aughts.

Everyone that complains about auto shop rates, and yearly safety inspections, will immediately drop dead when they see what a Part 145 or MRO shop will charge them for their annual inspection or a repair.

It’s a retelling of the anime from the 80's.

Damn this season is stacked.

There’s been some speculation that we’re moving into the final phase of globalization for the sake of cheap labor. China has done a pretty good job keeping labor suppressed, but they’re starting to look more like Mexico in the late 90's pay and standard of living wise. Add to that the fact that they’ve been pissing

Weird how large companies get all pissy when tax handouts come with stipulations. This is exactly the kind of thing that should have been done years ago to encourage domestic production and supply chains instead of the race to the bottom sweetheart tax deals and subsidies with very few enforcement provisions.
