Can’t say you’re wrong there. It would probably come down to the electronics/software package and how it is tuned. I would expect Honda to not screw that part up, but we are all still human and “shit happens”.

A question from someone who hasn’t ridden as many years as you. Won’t that lead to a high side? Why not?

From what I have read in Car & Driver and elsewhere Ford’s DCT isn’t executed very well. VW’s DCTs are always praised though.

DCT was developed for F1 in the 80's, then subsequently banned because of its advantages. Since they are being developed for street cars and motorcycles and becoming common if not widespread maybe both F1 & MotoGP should look at allowing them again.

DCT eliminates the need for a slipper clutch because the only reason for a slipper clutch is ham-fisted downshifts.

He posted another video today 4/5/16 that supports the riders story. Only way I see it as fake is if the whole thing was staged.

I think he regained traction when he shifted to second. Probably shifted poorly, with large throttle application before clutch engagement equaling greater traction loss.

I call it “penis measuring” and they think racing is just like Fast & Furious and don’t give it full throttle because they are just trying to test to see who is willing to go faster and only add more throttle when they realize they are falling behind. My MkV GTI is subtle enough, (looks stock, engine/exhaust/wheels

Technically each rotor fires once per revolution, just like a 2-stroke, but there isn’t a stroke so maybe you could call it a 1-rev.

My `87 Turbo II I can reach them from the top while standing next to driver side from wheel and reaching in from over the fender. When I was driving it I would change them every other oil change. Yes, the electrode showed visible wear by that time. Maybe I was running the wrong temp plugs. When I get it going again

Jay Leno’s advice for building a car collection is simply to never sell any of the ones you own.

I kinda subscribe to Jay Leno’s strategy. The best way to build your car collection is to never sell any vehicle you purchase.

So that is why I keep getting told I need to upgrade from my CBR250R, which I purchased for gas mileage and is about as fast to 60 as my `09 GTI. Oh, and genuine “bikers” could be called motorcyclists, unless you are possible referring to Hell’s Angels.

It is unlikely to be a dirt bike, but an adventure bike. The CB500X can be ridden offroad but it is much more street bike than dirt bike. I would expect a dirt ready ADV version of the CB500X. The CB500X is 427 lbs. which another commenter stated they wanted something in the low 400 lbs range. And the 471cc motor in

I’m going to speculate that it will be based on the CB500X. The NC700x would have been good; but in the drawing, the angle of the engine is not the same as the NC. Pulled up the Honda Powersports page and the 360 degree view of the 2015 CB500X (view not yet available for 2016 model). Set the 360 view to the same as
