I’m kinda arguing semantics here, but it bothers me that people keep saying Jeep’s (and other part time 4x4's with a transfer case) have center lockers. They don’t have lockers because they don’t have a center differential. Every part-time 4x4 transfer case I am aware of when 4x4 is engaged there are either direct

Here is another town made unlivable by people. I suppose both could be called accidents because it isn’t like either was done intentionally, even though their actions were on purpose.

Haven’t had a chance to watch this yet, but from watching their other videos I’m pretty sure which ones come out on top.

Shoots 30mm depleted uranium rounds, has a titanium “bathtub” for the cockpit. Side note: supposedly it is called the cockpit because pilots are/were/can be dicks. (I don’t know if the side note is true.

The super slow motion views are almost like watching destruction in the name of are. In one of the Tundra videos the drivers side wiper blade separates from the wiper arm and the blade is flapping its ends back and forth and looks like a butterfly flying away. In one of the Ram videos the grill appears to continue

I guess GM has pretty good off-road traction control to go with their automatic locking rear diff. Who would’ve thought?

I’ve been told before that a boat is just hole in the water that one pours money into. This then would be a flaming hole in the water that one pours money into.

Looks like the Tripod for the gun is held on with 550 cord and ratchet straps.

Any thoughts using a Pintle hitch for recovery?

Can’t say you’re wrong there. It would probably come down to the electronics/software package and how it is tuned. I would expect Honda to not screw that part up, but we are all still human and “shit happens”.

A question from someone who hasn’t ridden as many years as you. Won’t that lead to a high side? Why not?

From what I have read in Car & Driver and elsewhere Ford’s DCT isn’t executed very well. VW’s DCTs are always praised though.

DCT was developed for F1 in the 80's, then subsequently banned because of its advantages. Since they are being developed for street cars and motorcycles and becoming common if not widespread maybe both F1 & MotoGP should look at allowing them again.

DCT eliminates the need for a slipper clutch because the only reason for a slipper clutch is ham-fisted downshifts.
