Wow, we are really on the same page today! I was planning on making spicy palomas tonight with fresh grapefruit juice and the absolutely delicious Ancho Reyes Verde liqueur I recently bought. I’ll have to try a round with green chartreuse instead of the Ancho Reyes. Thanks for the suggestion!

Share with the class? :)

I'm so excited to see Aya Cash again! She's wonderful. I miss You're the Worst...

I was sitting and listening to his American accent and couldn’t figure out what it sounded like to me. Finally clicked - he sounds just like House. Maybe Tom Ellis and Hugh Laurie had the same dialect coach?

Not a movie, but it was concerning to me how delicious all the food looked in the TV Show Hannibal.

Oh good, thanks! The SI one was the only one I found but I didn’t look too hard. I’ll do some more digging.

MONEY PLEEEEASE

That’s awesome that you work for NYPL! I got really excited then saw it’s on SI at 10am... Not sure if I’ll be able to make that (I live wayyy uptown). But I’m happy she’s doing a reading!

Oh damn! How have I never heard of this before? Thanks for sharing!

Agreed. I was there in ‘99 (or thereabouts) and remember watching the same thing.

Not sure if you knew, but there are “Oreo mints thin” (clearly very different than “thin mints”) and they are the best!

I actually see it in the complete reverse. Holdo is an Admiral, and Poe is essentially a nobody. He runs around pissed that she won’t share her plans with him (someone who had just been demoted, no less), so he creates his own scheme that ultimately results in their entire fleet being decimated. I think he is the

Yes, you should definitely watch The Leftovers. Seasons 2 and 3 are incredible.

If you’re ever in NYC check out Harlem Hops:

I love Rogue! If you ever find yourself in Southern Oregon (great theater, good small wine region), definitely stop in. They also make some good cheddars in addition to the blues they are know for. They do a delicious rosemary and also a cheddar marbled with cacao that’s really interesting.

I totally agree about the technical being actually good this time.

The weirdest part about everyone this time saying “I’ve never seen or heard of it” is that the Gateau St. Honore was made in at least one prior season. So, if they are good reality show competitors like they should be, they should’ve seen it made before. So I call BS on it this time, it sounds like it was being fed

I love Jeeves and Wooster, and also ‘Allo ‘Allo.

There’s a place in NYC (Big Mozz) that injects their fresh mozzarella balls with pesto. Ingenious.
