Having bought a 5-speed 4-cyl TJ a while back, I would argue that between road noise, the anemic 4cyl, the lack of internal secure storage, and the excessive cost of aftermarket parts like tops, a Wrangler is *not* the most fun car under $15k.

You’ll spend 30k on fuel in the next 4-5 years to keep the damn thing running.

I’d recommend a Maverick Hybrid and maybe a Bronco Sport Ecoboost.  Be prepared to wait for both to be made, though.

Cyber Orange exists, but it’s too yellow. Hot Pepper Red is the orangest color available currently.

It also drops hella frames.  Mario Kart 64 is a way less pleasant experience than MK8.

The better option is a Sooners shirt.

Yeah, we bought one, and it just points downward. It’s under the Ford badge.

We get snow here maybe twice a year, and it’s gone the next day.

Counterpoint: Diesels can be run on things other than diesel fuel.

My kids (and my wife!) fit in the back of my Maverick with room enough to spare, and your argument about dry cargo space is easily answered by a tonneau or a bed cap.

my loaded Maverick has auto up/down on all 4 windows, and the rear is a power slider.

I would have trotted down to the nearest AutoZone, bought a bunch of transmission fluid, a tube of JB-weld, and a little wire brush.

Step 1: use the wire brush to clean back to good metal on the outside of the trans pan

Most of the “problems” with the post office stem from the law that says they have to prepay 50 years of their employees’ pensions. Until they had to start paying that kind of money to their retirement funds, they were profitable. No other business is expected to do that. The Post Office is the current epitome of “use

That organization doesn’t pass the smell test.  Their WHOIS results contain no organization information, and their website is suspiciously lacking in any “who are we” to establish any kind of source credibility.

EVs are different.  There’s no ready source of high-temperature engine coolant to scavenge heat from, so you have to use electrical power.

My ‘18 Focus sure has a lot of drive belt on the A/C compressor for something that’s electric.

I put 200k miles on an S10.  What was that about them not lasting?

My mortgage costs about $1200/mo, and I put down around $6k to buy my house (tax advantages from claiming my dad as a dependent for a couple years since I was paying his bills).  Renting forever will end poorly when your income falls due to retirement.
