I'm more impressed by wit than pratfalls — anyone can fall down or make a goofy face. Comediennes like that do exist today, but I vastly prefer the razor-sharp one-liners of Tina Fey to the physical buffoonery of Melissa McCarthy.

I don't make a practice of watching romantic comedies, and the wretched plots summarized above are a good reason.
