I don't make a practice of watching romantic comedies, and the wretched plots summarized above are a good reason. But as a fan of the late Brittany Murphy, I did sit through Little Black Book when it aired on daytime TV. The entire time I thought "this woman is crazy! I really hope she DOESN'T get the guy in the end."
