I can't think of any reason why someone would want a Tamagotchi now. But clearly from that eBay sticker price, someone else can.

Reminds me of the kind of promotional humor that the Ha Channel used during its brief existence, 1990-1991.

If it was reduced to a monopoly, it would not be as low as $20-$30 per month.

Did you ask her to scream? She must get that request all the time.
"WAAAAAAA-UGHHHH"

Don't watch it; it'll ruin "Linger" for you forever.

Go look at the titles Palladino gave to nearly every Gilmore Girls episode, and all will make sense.

A new movie based on a Patterson book was just released…..direct to digital. One of the most negative reviews I've ever read…but probably better than the book.

Apparently Claremont actually knew someone named Kitty Pryde and just had to use it for a comic book character. I don't know if the real Pryde was Jewish.

Comet only has the rights to around twelve episodes right now.

Well….according to holy text you're not supposed to relish this. When a guy in the Bible is given a vision of the end of the world, he is first given a scroll….and then told to eat it. Which he does. First it tastes sweet, then VERY bitter. The man is told this is how the end of the world will feel for him: first the

They were really in it, but….probably not.

I'm probably the only one who knows this, but The Melvins were guest-stars on an Uncle Grandpa episode last January.

It's nice to see Brenda Song again. Thank God Dads didn't slaughter her career.

There was an effort to rescue Blip's archives and get them on archive.org. They said it would take a long time, though, and the current state of that archive is a mess. The last time I looked, the only TGWTG content I could find was Angry Joe's, whose videos are still online anyway.

TGWTG was really something special. That site's strongest asset was that it felt like a family, like a bunch of old friends goofing around. Apparently nobody running the site felt the same way and they threw all that out for the bland sterility that is Channel Awesome.

There are other streaming services on the market that have more channels and cost less. This service, as it currently is, is a ripoff and I'm dismayed to see it getting so much press just because Google/YouTube is behind it.

I'm just worried they'll cancel it simply because they have no more room. They're taking on a FIFTH Berlanti Superhero Show next season.

You can always tell who hasn't seen Kangaroo Jack because they refer to it as a "talking rapping kangaroo movie," unaware that the kangaroo only talks for about a minute in someone' dream. Marketing tried to make the public think otherwise, and it largely worked.

Yeah, I remember reading very similar statements when stories about "Generation Y" started getting published. "Gen-X is worthless, but these guys are a lot more optimistic."
