Im a 5'6" female and you wouldn’t be saying this shit if it were a male gamer who said something offensive equating women’s body shape, size or whatever to our rights. Stop with the double standard pandering.

lmao, say you’re hurt without saying you’re hurt.

I’m 6' and I don’t have any problem with her being fired. I can’t pretend to comprehend the cultural implications of the slang she used, but you can say “I prefer tall men” without saying “Short men aren’t humans and should have surgery to fix their defect”. Replace tall/short with any other immutable identifier about

Would you react the same way if she’d said “fat people have no rights, they should all get bariatric surgery”?

Agreed that there’s so much detail in the game in places you don’t expect. And honestly this might be the first time RTX’s lighting does actually make a difference, flat scenes can turn into neon drenched amazingness if you have it running full blast.

Totally agree, the devs clearly worked their asses off, but I feel like they may have bit off a little more than they could chew given how ambitious the game means to be; and that ultimately led to a decade of development and put the people in charge between a rock and a hard place to do right by their employees and

The problem is not the people making the game, the problem is the suits who release to early.

People just cannot comprehend the complexity of not just the world but a situation like this. It’s way easier to complain on the internet. The world is not black and white, it is a series of different greys.

Finally a rational explanation. Thank you. Honestly people will never understand unless they have at least attempted to make a game.

Actually no they might not have had a choice. Shareholders hold the power in publicly traded companies depending on the allocation of shares.

You have to make cuts of individual models to have a massive world. Even on top end machines that kind of cut is made.

I agree with you.

I’m playing on an xbox one from 2013.

I just don’t know how people are looking at immense, several-million-intensive-manhours-plus masterpiece going “it sucks!”

It does, my friend just bought a 3080 and was kind enough to stream it for me on release day so i could decide if i should wait for a PC upgrade or not, it definitely looks amazing and even the raytracing which i felt sure was just industry bunk was actually very attractive if you did a side by side with or without it.

I’ve had some experience with Porsche’s PR shock troopers and the following screenshot I just took is a triumph of art AND diplomacy. This isn’t just a 911 in a videogame it’s a CUSTOMISED 911. There is a completely made up bolt-on digital vehicle control screen where all the old school slidey non-working heater

They have been curated (by me) as best flattering the underlying art. There are certain lighting situations where they don’t look nearly as good. Misty is the most consistently jaw-dropping “rendered object” in the game for me because she’s always in that moody purple/red context. She has 100% completed the long climb

I see your *go learn to make a part of a videogame instead* and raise you *ship a game*

It’s amazing from an art direction and world scope perspective.
