They're not bad games, they just suffer from being too popular and getting bandwagon hate. I would buy them if they ever went down in price. I love Battlefield and all, but CoD is much more of a laid-back arcade shooter whereas BF is more realistic and sometimes frustratingly difficult for a guy who is not good at FPS.

Call of Duty 2 remains the best Call of Duty game to date, despite it's simplicity. Played every console version so far on Xbox 360 (with the exception of Ghosts, which I will be picking up for the Xbox One on the 22nd).

Same here! Every year for eight years.

Could they? Maybe. Will they? Nah. I don't see them being too interested in dedicated handhelds, and while they'll develop games for Surface/WinPho as long as they exist, I don't think it'll ever be a serious focus.

As far as Gears of War goes though, technically it's possible, since Epic completely owns the franchise

The handheld market is far from dead. I work in retail and I can tell you that the difference between the handhelds we sell and consoles we sell is exponential(in favour of the handhelds). They're cheaper, portable, and don't require a television to play, perfect distraction for most parents.

A long time ago, there was talk and even a pre-alpha Halo on the DS. Obviously, it never happened.

I'm almost certain they have no interest in the handheld market, which is (sadly) beginning to show signs of turning into a dying breed within a generation or two...I wouldn't be the least bit shocked to never see a Sony handheld again, and while Nintendo could very easily hold on for 1, 2, maybe even more

I still have a myriad of problems with Battlefield 3. Ranging from the sound of my gun disappearing to lock ups. I've had a long history of Battlefield being a pain in the ass for me.

you can stick any HDD in your PS4 has long as its more than 160GBs what you CANT do is connect an external HDD via USB to your PS4...so If I were you'd buy a internal 3TB HDD from Amazon now and swap it in when you get a PS4

Throw out some sources on the last redesign of the PS3 getting rid of that option. Every PS3 and the PS4 were made so replacing the HDD with a new one was a simple affair. Hell it has the formatting information stored on board so as soon as you pop in a new stock HDD it will auto format it for use with the PS3.

...upgrade it yoursekf in 5 minutes dude. that's the first thing I'm doing when the console gets here; a 2 TB 2.5" HDD is here waiting

Many of us gamers aren't privy to being social outside of those who share our interest....that being said the one game that most of us has a cousin or uncle playing is call of duty.. A lot of the time these people don't play games as a hobby or that's the only game they'll give a chance. I have a cousin like that, he

I like both. When I want a tactical shooter with true team work i play BF. When I feel like runin and gunin I chose COD.

I agree. I think it was just one of those hipster things to do, hate something that's beautiful. Like for me COD was a complete game, good solo campaigns and an addictive arcade like multi-player, which i could enjoy online split-screen with a friend, which battlefield failed to do.

That's something we kinda have to learn to ignore.

Waaaaaaah! We didn't get what we wanted!!!! Waaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Not really no, I'm actually of the impression that they are really smooth and clean.

From the people I know 99% of the ones who hate COD fall under 3 categories:

- Hate it because it's the popular thing to hate: probably half of them just hate it because it's the popular thing to hate in the gaming world right now. They complain that it's "the same every time" and they go and buy every new sequel of

Nomen est omen.

I think this is a nerdgasm right here! :D

And I agree man! Put it there! *highfive*

I love Call of Duty, man. It's the one franchise that was consistently 60 fps on current gen consoles.
