Totally forgot about this

So why would a football fan who is already watching football need a $400 machine to watch football?

It is a VIDEO GAME console. Games should come first, anything else should come after. Else it isn't a video game console, just some entertainment device which happens to be able to play games too. Wait...could that actually BE what the XBox One is?

Me too. Had that same demo disc (man, those were the days!) and I played the MGS demo for about 10 minutes until I realized I hated it...It sat under a stack of games for months...and months...until one day I had beaten all of my games, so I threw the disc in and played the only demo on it I hadn't beaten — MGS. An

I had a very similar experience. Only a friend of mine introduced it to me and I had no idea how to play, and I didn't enjoy it very much, but we still kept playing it. It wasn't until I first got my PS2 and someone got me a copy of MGS2 that I fell in love with the series.

I still think its a load of nonsense that gold is required if you want to use Netflix, Hulu, and other services you are already paying for.

That would actually be really cool. Even if they are unfinished or broken, just to give us an idea of what development was like and what ideas the game went through. If that would take too much development time though I would be ok with just a few short unlockable videos and pictures that would do the same, like the

The Last of Us Bloopers?

It's called Developer Commentary and you can find them on most Valve games after HL2.

I agree. I lost a few systems to the RRoD. I always wonder out of that 100M sold number how many were actually RRoD or E74 replacements...

Ben Affleck is a good actor that is consistently plagued with being cast in movies that have poor writing and direction. When he is the one holding the pen and the camera he is actually quite good.

I imagine Kevin Smith is super excited now that he's a real life friend of Batman.

As many have noted, remember all the cynicism when Heath Ledger was announced as the Joker? Affleck could very well be amazing. This is still hilarious, though.

Kotaku's Review- Should You Play This- YES.
The fact that Kirk gives it a review that covers the bad or flawed aspects as well as the good, from what appears to be the POV of a non superfan of Splinter Cell is exactly the kind of review I wanted to see, and in the grand scheme of things really helpful, so long as

I don't think there are any deals on DLC because the DLC is where the largest chunk of EA's profits are derived :(

I am incredibly happy that Smooth McGroove is getting some Kotaku publicity, this guy deserves it, he's so great at what he does.
