I will admit I screamed like a little bitch.

On Point.

In certain modes like online or vs modes is fine, but the single-player stuff I’d like to unlock them by playing through the story and single-player modes.

Wasn’t all that bad to be honest.

Perhaps I’m stuck in that era of gaming progression. That method is the only one to me that makes sense. Now maybe I wouldn’t be complaining if the game wasn’t $60, or even had a few characters to choose from, but the game has 24 default characters unlocked from the get-go. The only one that wasn’t was Shinnok, which

But cheat codes on consoles is a thing of the past. I’m not sure why devs don’t like this feature on consoles anymore. oh yeah, trophies/achievements.. which is another thing I don’t care about anymore.

Yup which is why I put some time into the game and move on.

No you don’t need to run a disc to play GTA V, however there is a decent sized patch after the install. But since you’ve got a nice connection just get the digital, unless you like owning physical copies of games, or other reasons.

Having to EARN characters by playing the game instead of it handing out all fighters is a silly and stupid idea. I’m sorry you disagree with my method of progression in a fighting game. But that is how I would like some games to be especially if a game runs at $60. I like to feel like my money is well spent.

If some fighters we set up like Tekken 2, I don’t think it’d be all that bad. Play as characters to unlock others by completing their story.

The Physical copy for GTA V does not activate through Steam, it activates through R* Social Club. So if you’re looking to play with friends at an ease I’d recommend downloading from Steam. (Unless you don’t have the good internet speed/data.)

The whole thing is confusing really..

I’ve never been a fan of Smash Bros., so I’m not entirely sure how that game works.

Having to unlock extra characters by actually playing the game is so fun. The last fighter I played that did that was the original Street Fighter 4. I like to feel the sense of accomplishment.

Most people probably go straight into the online anyway, so making all characters available in that mode seems more suitable. As for a single-player gamer such as myself would like to earn my characters.

I’d rather have to earn my characters rather than have it already unlocked. I like to feel like I’m making progress with my games.

I thought the same thing with MK9. All of those would kill you. Look how they just get up right after you execute the attack like as if nothing happened.

Having characters unlocked from the get-go for not tournament gamer’s is a bore. I myself get burned out of fighters quickly when everything is unlocked.

I love Mortal Kombat X and the franchise as a whole. This game plays great, but one thing I wish they would have done with MKX is to unlock fighters as you progress into the story or in some other ways. Not a fan of having every character unlocked from the beginning. Well.. except for one.. But, hey that’s just me I

Those are all DVDs. I think if it were Bluray’s there wouldn’t be so many discs.
