Yeah holy shit. Articles that can manipulate the story like this are why you should never post.

I’d highly recommend reading the article linked in this one. It’s a bit more thorough. This article is just a fucking hit piece that cherry picks the absolute worst takes on the whole situation.
Oh boy, they are in trouble now. I am sure they are going to face severe consequences that lead to lasting and meaningful change within the organization!
I have to stop. Writing bad things about Mystery Men is too easy, which I wish that wasn’t the case. I wish watching the film again revealed something new, something interesting, something fun. But it did not. Instead, I was left enraged that this film, with this level of talent, turned out as poorly as it did.
Narrative triumph? Absolutely not. It’s time to move on from these cheap thrills references and cameos.
Zemo does have to fight....for his right...
(It’s a criticism of the AVClub’s practices, not something the poster actually believes.)
You seem to be in the minority, here. Most everyone seems to think the animation is really good.
After last week’s episode, I wrote about how Marvel’s insistence on convincing everyone that What If…? is a Real Marvel Thing is doing a disservice to both the show itself and cool characters like Captain Carter. You can read it here.
Hey, maybe the next thing you can write is the huge, messy Twitter controversy surrounding this episode as well.
Anyway, Feige’s two-stepping around controversy continued as he said he’s “all for amicable solutions” when it came to the ScarJo suit. Giving a milquetoast soundbite is Feige’s superpower.
Asked to comment on the “Changing the ‘Captain America Twitter Avatar to Captain Carter” controversy, Feige said, “What in the Goddamned hell are you talking about?”
The grift knows no boundaries. At least thieves have to have talent.
Has there ever been a pity GoFundMe that was true?
Had the change not been made: “there is something to be said for the fact that Marvel refused to replace a man with a woman in its promotional materials, especially in light of Scarlett Johansson’s lawsuit and Disney’s tone-deaf media response.”
I was worried the world had passed me by, but then I read literally every comment on this terrible thing that I’m sorry to admit I wasted time reading, and it appears that everyone has had the same basic reaction, which seems to be some form of “I can’t believe I wasted a part of my life reading and thinking about…
“there is something to be said for the fact that Marvel jumped at the chance to replace a Black man with a white woman in its promotional materials.”
So if I’m reading this correctly, the problem is that Marvel temporarily replaced the promotional Twitter account avatar of a character whose show dropped several months ago with a different character whose show dropped last night?
Our next door neighbor has a projector room that came with their house. No screen, just 150"+ full wall washed out madness. Hidden speakers, mediocre image and sound quality. He loves it.
I cannot stress enough how bad and INCORRECT this take is.
