This was a pretty cool episode, mostly for seeing the comic come to life. This is about as close as they've come in some ways to reproducing an actual issue. I think even a lot of the dialogue was the same.

I've been thinking Daryl for a while now. But maybe it IS Abraham. I don't think they're going to do Glenn.

Yeah. Maybe it just doesn't work in 6 episodes. For me, anyway.

I thought book-ending the "mythology" episodes was a weird choice. They started out with this civilization-ending important conspiracy and then went to Mulder wise cracks, a were-lizard man and a Trash Man, and then back again.

I'm still not sure if the O'Malley character was supposed to be a mild send up of the dickish conservative commenter or an endorsement of insane conspiracy types like Jones.

I'm wanting to have liked it, but I'm not sure I did.

Yeah, probably so. I just think it would make more sense to fire that at a big swarm of walkers or people.

Well, Daryl did blow them all up with an RPG. Probably feels like he's got a handle on things.

Maybe. That wouldn't have the weight though of one of the Grimes' gang.

That is a good point. Like using a scarce item like an RPG to light a fire.

Agreed. It kind of sets up Rick's new family too, albeit differently than the show. I'm kind of curious how this changes Michonne's character for future events.

A lot of good stuff on that box. One of the best bands of all time. Sadly, they'll probably never get their just due.

There is a higher-fidelity recording of Motor Away. I think it was a single in '95. It's also on one of the discs in the Hardcore UFOs box set. As is that EP I mentioned.

A re-recorded Bee Thousand or Alien Lanes wouldn't work, as a whole. If they did the "hits" from those albums, it might. Take the re-recorded songs on the Tigerbomb EP for example. I love those versions.

I can't say I'm surprised. But it's good news that there will be a new LP.

Might be something in your DNA that shouldn't be there. In this context, it might be alien.

I don't believe it was, no.

I'm just glad Mulder wasn't the "Alex Jones" analogue here. That would have been depressing.

Pretty sure time puts a cigarette in your mouth…

Yeah, this and Andy Warhol were two of the first Bowie songs I knew because of J Mascis.
