The X-Men don’t really makes sense in the MCU, especially the state it’s in now. Ms. Marvel showed what “regular teenager suddenly gets super-powers” in a world where people with super-powers are well-loved heroes and celebrities (with tie-in merchandise) pretty well.

This is a huge problem in scifi storytelling in general. It’s very anti-democratic.
