Can someone explain to me how this is a “scam” and not just a really bad product that didn’t live up to the marketing hype?

I just mean the bit at the very very end where the Upside Down leaks into the real world. This sequence starts when Will reaches and touches the back of his neck, and lasts for 3 wordless minutes until the credits roll.
I know season 4 ended on a gonzo cliffhanger, but one of the weird problems of Stranger Things was that once-in-a-lifetime supernatural adventures keep happening over a condensed period of time. It’s the price they paid by not making the show as a one-and-done miniseries.

You’re missing the point. Yes, I know that they’re trying to make it so that he never existed so viewers can enjoy his earlier contributions without feeling any discomfort. My point is that the show owes its audience better than that.
I’m not too bad at the missing vowels round (really depends on the category), but I don’t play along because I think it’s a stupid round that has no place on what is otherwise a brilliant format. 😆 When it comes up I literally stop watching the episode or skip to the end for Victoria’s end-of-show joke.
If I get just *one* sequence question right on Only Connect I feel like a genius. And if I get it one clue before the contestants, that feeling can last for days.
The point of harder questions having higher dollar values, that the player selects, is that it’s a risk/reward thing.
