Of course I do. Do you really think I’d comment on the internet without direct, unassailable first-hand knowledge?

such groundbreaking metafictional art

I think I agree with Roiland in general that those earlier episodes were better

No, we got it already. Thanks.

I like Seven on Picard, but making her a “badass” isn’t a choice I fully agree with. She was basically a superhero who could do anything on Voyager, so there really isn’t any *wrong* way they could have gone with her character, but the scientist/engineer part of her is what I would have preferred they had leaned into.

I agree. Every episode (apart from being way too long) tries way too hard to be “about something” without fully understanding the issue they’re trying to talk about, or earning it from a character or plot perspective.

Yeah, I’ve heard that before, but it doesn’t really make sense. I mean, First Contact also prominently features a Borg Cube in several excellent compositions, not a Borg Rectangle.

Great, I’ll file that with the records office. Thanks for keeping us updated.

I think the reason SNW’s redesign works is in part because all the actors are different. It helps with the suspension of disbelief, and doesn’t make watching TOS confusing. But I think if we see the TNG cast on the 1701-D again (whether holodeck or time travel or dream sequence) I think it would have to look mostly

Why not bring the Enterprise-F over too?

I think Christina’s timeline my still not be aligned.

That’s true, but what I meant to say was why did she go “I’m not a lawyer anymore”?

So if all the private jets disappeared, it would reduce carbon emissions by a little more than 0.5%

Maybe Kim just no longer trusted herself to wield that power.

Yes, Gus wins, but he is utterly alone, and lacks the tools to make himself happy.

I find Kim’s “breaking bad” moments, peppered though the series, completely unearned. The show thinks its being clever for saying “Saul isn’t corrupting Kim, she’s just as bad!” but they also spend so little time building that part of her character because they really want it to be a surprise every time.

I didn’t dislike the big twist, but the entire thing was telegraphed pretty early in the episode when Christina’s roommate describes her nightmare.

Who said you can’t do that?

Like how they call every Starfleet ship “Enterprise” and every woman captain “Janeway.” I love it.

Yes! Even if it’s just a 6-minute Short Trek shot on the cheap using the Stargazer sets they built for Picard, I’d be happy.
