There was this low-budget sci-fi comedy called “Other Space” a few years ago that I really liked, but it bothered me that they literally used a MakerBot Replicator 3D printer, completely unmodified (including original product label/logo), as a high-tech “food synthesizer” prop.

First, you can’t make a Sonic movie for adults because it’s a kids property. There’s nothing to adapt into an adult-focused story.

It’s especially foggy because 13 was like “I saw Gallifrey, it was destroyed for good” as evidence and we viewers are like, “um, I’ve heard that one before.” 😛

There are lots of good reasons to do this instead of another more familiar team-up movie, not the least of which is that Margo Robbie absolutely deserves to be the star of it.
