Actually, from all reports RBG genuinely liked Scalia, not just because they shared hobbies. He was apparently quite fun to be around, with a very quick wit. Still a terrible Justice, but I’d take a Scalia over an Alito any day of the week; simultaneously more conservative and less interesting.
