They’re also great for dudes. Everyone get a pair!
Yeah that’s definitely possible. Any crime occurring in the Palisades Mall would technically be a crime occurring in West Nyack. Still, even that isn’t exactly a hotbed of crime...
I mean, in the 1970s-1980s, maybe, when the town was a bit run-down. And there was the Brinks Robbery in 1980, where the thieves fled through Nyack and got into a gunfight right at the village border But now? I think your feeling is pretty far off. A quick dig through Google doesn’t find a single rape arrest in Nyack…
... are you implying that there are rapes and drugs and prostitution in Nyack.... okay, fine, maybe the drugs. Lots of weed, from all the ex-hippies.
Edit: Also, Baldwin’s behavior apparently was much worse than I remembered. All I remembered was that he was very public about it in town council meetings, but, yeah, much worse:
Is it weird that I want to clone her?
I mean, realistically, if I did have the technology to clone someone I should probably start with someone else first.
Stephen Baldwin crusaded against the opening of an adult store in my home-town, even though he lived miles away in his own mansion (which he lost after he was convicted for failing to pay income taxes, the rich loser). I think he hated that he’d have to drive past an adult store (*gasp!*) if he ever wanted to get on…
See, also, “John Marshall has made his decision; now let him enforce it!”
Hard to say, honestly. So far, at least, the Trump administration still follows court orders (mostly).
It depends on the reasons for the failure. If the failure is due to them simply disregarding the order, they could be held in contempt of court. If there are other, legitimate reasons for their failure to comply (for instance, the parent was released and has gone underground, so that they cannot find him or her), then…
I honestly think the main reason DHS is fucked is because it’s named the Department of Homeland Security and that entire concept just inflated the goddamn heads of everyone working there into thinking they’re the last lines of defense, etc...
First, when everyone is complaining about ICE, they’re actually complaining about ICE ERO (Enforcement and Removal Operations).
One major advantage to the “inefficiencies” of putting ICE under the control of a larger immigration-related department is that it forces ICE to consider immigration as a whole, and not solely from the metric of enforcement. Personally, I’m in favor of smashing US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) back…
“The Agency is exercising its enforcement discretion in 2018 and 2019.”
Also, just saw you took the buyout too. Always enjoyed your articles even though I know like... jack shit about cars (and what I know, I mostly learned from Jalopnik). Best of luck in your next position!
Brendan, for dunking on Milo along with a bunch of other DSA members, I will forever be in your debt. That was a genuinely amazing moment.
Yeah, but I was responding to her comment that “The US allows dual citizens, but doesn’t allow its citizens to become naturalized citizens anywhere else.”
That’s simply not true about having to renounce your US citizenship. From the State Department:
