One of the best signs at the march in my town was “Empiricism, not Imperialism”

I just got back from Detroit’s march, which was baby’s first protest! It was a big crowd. My beloved Rep. Brenda Lawrence gave a rousing speech, as did an activist from Flint who tied the day’s protests to the ongoing struggle for clean water in Flint.

You know how a lot of other countries have compulsory military service? We should have that but for the service industry. I think a lot of people have no idea.

Props to everyone participating in this march BUT the fact that we have to have this is an embarrassment.

The death penalty is barbaric and has no place in a modern legal system.
