That woman is going to have a job in the industry. And fast.

First the truck rushes in

They’re probably for style. Glasses as purely cosmetic accessories are very popular in several Asian countries.

i’m guessing they’re “spending the money” to staff it but the guy making $7.25/hr in a heated booth isn’t too incentivized to wander around a giant ass parking lot writing down license plate numbers at night in the middle of winter.

Considering that there is no possible explanation he could give without making himself appear 1) drunk or high, 2) a compulsive liar, 3) dangerously stupid and incompetent, or, 4) some combination of the first three; he probably made the right choice there.

At this point, I’m willing to bet about 1/4 of South Florida’s population are New Jersey/New York/Pennsylvania transplants, so pretty much the same thing.

He works for CRST, not Louisville Logistics, so there’s no reason to assume he doesn’t know how to back up.

2 miles reversing a 53 foot trailer?

The worst part is that they’d built hotel on Boardwalk, so he owed like $500 in rent just for one night.

It will take about 2 weeks for them to back it out for 2 miles.

Truck comes in, truck goes out. You can’t explain that.

With the “security guards” license plate reader, if there isn’t a clear plate, it won’t read it. Being as he was from Kansas, they only have plates on the back. He had backed into the parking spot, up against the wall. The “guards” never bothered to get out and check the plate. Had they done their job, he would have

Not surprising. I work for a general contractor that does a LOT of work in airports and parking security is a lot more lax than you would expect. I’ve heard stories of people leaving cars in employee lots (which are ‘strictly’ enforced to 24 hours max) for weeks on end before someone so much as leaves a note let alone

“We’ll happily take off $1000 from the 6 figure settlement you owe us after we take you to court for failing your contractual obligations and causing months of anguish.”

If you wanna find hell with me, this movie will show you what’s it’s like.

I will probably never see this movie, but I did read this detailed explanation of the plot and holy shit.

Earth.

Alberta is Canada’s Texas.

We have Calgary American style stupidity in spades.

If I like the Danzig song, will I like this movie as well?
