Probably because the game's animation wasn't made with 30 FPS in mind. There's a difference between an intentional 30 FPS game and one with a framerate that's inconsistent.

Doesn't change the fact that 30 FPS is still perfectly acceptable for some types of games, particularly when that extra horsepower can be directed to creating more detailed environments, which, depending on the game, can do more for immersion that lightning-quick response time.

No way. The story didn't get twisted. It fell to pieces. It completely failed to deliver on questions and promises made throughout the first half of the game, and the final climax was practically non-existent. I can distinctly remember the end credits rolling and thinking "are you fucking kidding me? That's it?"

Are you kidding? That game was terrible. It's a series of QTEs and a story that completely falls apart in the third act. I don't know if I've ever been more disappointed with a video game.

I'd say Prime is one of the most overrated and Other M is the most under appreciated games of all time
