Why does every multiplayer game have to have infinite long term viability these days? Just make something that’s fun to play and people will play it, you don’t have to have season passes and a million overpriced cosmetics.

Bungie has a pretty good track record of fixing these same day AND punishing those who take advantage, just FYI.
I’m sorry, what now? You think Destiny 2's decreased amount of content vs increased cost is at a healthier place now than it used to be?
People aren’t reviewing this badly (just) because of the bugs.
I played the game normally and never had a rupee shortage except in the first few hours. You don’t HAVE to grind for anything in this game. I think are conflating ‘have to grind’ with ‘I want everything in the game handed to me as quickly as possible with the least amount of effort’.
Big mad from people who paid $70 to skip as much of the game as possible.
Oh no, you’ll have to play the game now! Shit!
No one expected this game to be any good at all, but the depths of its awfulness seem to have surprised a great many people somehow.
I think people see the insane prices of used games pre-digital era and remember ‘Hey I used to own that game, now if I want to play it again I need to spend $130 on a used copy without a manual?’ and thus feel a need to collect physical copies. But there’s a good reason that most used games on PS3/4 and up era don’t…
People who resell games are being taken advantage of. It’s crazy to me that people fight tooth and nail for the privilege of reselling their games for 1/5th what they paid.
I bought FF16 from my place of work because I get a discount and I’m already regretting it because there is no midnight release. While everyone I like to talk to about games will be playing at 9pm on June 22, I will have to wait, at a minimum, until 1130 on the 23rd, the soonest I could be home from the shop. But more…
I look forward to reading about whatever new 45 minutes of lore the next overpriced expansion brings to the game, but personally I am done with Destiny 2 and have been for months. It was fun enough to hide the skinner box lever for a long time, but Bungie gradually stripped away all the veneer and made it so obviously…
That’s a DELTA symbol. Is there some official press release that calls it ‘MGS3 Triangle’ or what? Because that can’t possibly be what they went with.
That’s great news! I borrowed Jedi Survivor for my PS5 from work, started the install last night and put the console into rest mode so I could play this morning.
Talk about taking a quote out of context. The ACTUAL Polygon quote is:
Who will they get to flog shitty mobile games now? You were so adequate at it.
But that show is zoomer garbage built on millenial bones, and there’s a reason it was cancelled.
Bomb Flowers are super easy to farm as many as you need, the depths only have 3 things growing there are Bomb Flowers are one, and they grow around the base of any structure in the area. You can easily get 100 Bomb Flowers in about 20 minutes if you go there for that express purpose. (Not to mention Puffshrooms and…
It’s like Bolson doesn’t even exist to you folks.
You could get new copies of those legendary weapons by talking to the various town leaders and giving them some materials in BotW, and in TotK you can get all your unique items back by trading a plentiful resource to a vendor in the first town.
