When I think of Chocolate Chip I also think of Thrifty’s (I also got the scoop). When I was little I remember wanting ice cream at the Thrifty’s counter and my mother warned me against it because I was already ill and I’d get sick to my stomach, but I insisted. On the way home we had to pull over so I could hurl.

Jesus, I can’t believe I have to have this discussion again. The book Starship Troopers was far from “fascist.” If that’s the only takeaway someone has from the book, they were ignoring all the important parts: to wit, service is voluntary. Conscription is slavery and no just society or sound military body can endure

This right here. There are people cursing each over this fucking game that might have pokemon.  What the fuck have they done to us?

Petty, Reactionary, Entitled, etc.

99% of gamers, let alone those aware of this game’s existence, don’t know about nor care about the AI Art thing, and Square surely knows this. That news was dead on arrival anyway. A Smokescreen this isn’t.

Nor does your comment have much to do with the article above, only relevant

Christ Zack, what an insufferable baby you are.

Man considering how much of ARR is basically about going to Indigenous-coded societies and killing anyone who practices their local religion,

Great story! But there is one thing that drew my attention... “Neir and Drakengard fans”?

I’ve got 10 more delightful non-alcoholic drinks here:
1. Normal water
2. Sparkling water (not La Croix & its imitators, but the really cheap ones that somehow taste way better)
3. Lemonade
4. Iced tea
5. Hot tea
6. Fruit juice
7. Soda
8. Punch
9. Milk
10. Smoothie

What a ridiculous take. The 3ds sold 75m units, which makes it the 12th highest selling console of all time (and firmly in the middle of the pack compared to the “major” console releases - Nintendo, Sony, Xbox, Sega). Yes, the DS sold 150m, but it’s also unfair to compare with a system that was not only lightning in a

Yeah, agreed. I really liked the first one overall, but there are lots of odd moments where characters act like they’re on their own (Therion’s story especially seemed to revolve around it) conveniently ignoring the 7 other characters travelling around with them. I had hoped the sequel would rectify that more.

Some people have made it their entire identity to attack people who are planning to play this game as bigots or bigot enabling and I just can’t with these people. I’ve donated a not-insignificant amount of my time and money to progressive candidates but im going to enjoy creative mediums and I separate art from

Everything he writes is hateful and combative, he's a real miserable prick

Troy Baker did the motion capture for Joel. Also, this author is a hack. Troy Baker’s performance as Joel during the death scene is far better than Pedro Pascal’s. Jesus Christ was a joke this article was.

This is a weirdly hateful article. You can describe what you like without sounding like a spiteful whiner.

I love how the comments that agree with you are hidden and the ones defending Kotaku are visible. I agree with you though...there’s more to this complete change of attitude than the “different writers different opinions” cop out.

Kotaku (and affiliated sites) only write opinion pieces, they don’t like to bother with facts unless they support their preconceived opinion. It cuts down on the editing process a lot.

this game has to be one of the biggest disconnects between gamers and reviewers, i love it

The more people getting screwed over by crypto grifts the more awareness gained about it. I love to see it too.

I think the headline did a good enough job of communicating that the article was satire. That being said, it’s not good or funny satire.

No. lol, The sold tomb raider specifically so they could invest into NFT gaming. They already confirmed it when they sold tomb raider and half of there SE games.
