It read more like he was hyping up his team than the game, but I think it’d likely be impossible for him to make the same mistake again, because every single time he opens his mouth there will be legions of people waiting to say ‘BUT REMEMBER NMS SANDWORMS’.

Loved KITH when I was a kid! I forgot this was happening, and now I’m excited all over again.

I’ve been playing A.O.T. 2 Final Battle now that the series is finally wrapping up (although of course that’s not actually true, thanks for the bait and switch on the so-called ‘Final Season’ whoever makes AOT), and I’ve really been enjoying it, except it has a bad habit of crashing to desktop after I’ve just

Damn, that sucks, because I also just switched my XS for a 12 Mini as the control module on my XS went out and it’s basically unusable now (hundreds of phantom taps per second on the top fifth of the screen).

Mid-air collisions?

I don’t really mind either way as it’d just be on Game Pass anyway, like as not, but I feel like there’s room in mega-publishers pockets for new games AND remakes, and I don’t mind a remake when it’s good, like the THPS ones mentioned above, or a remake in name only, like FF7R. Look at it this way; a remake provides

I mean, the games themselves are just as fun as they always were, it was just the low effort upscaling that made those bad.

Personally I could care less about SSX at this point, but in THIS specific conversational thread on the Internet, we were talking about a theoretical remake that was as good as the THPS1+2 remakes, so quality is already a guarantee in this made up bizarro world where they remake SSX Tricky. I don’t know who the ‘they’

They did make new SSX games, and they weren’t good.

Ahh, the classic idiot cryptbro line. ‘You just don’t understand.’

Oh, have they moved on from ‘you just don’t understand it’ now?

Why yes, I do hate all micro-transactions.

Cue the dumbass cryptbros: yOu JuSt DoN’t UnDeRsTaNd CrYpTo BrO tRuSt Me It’S bEtTeR tHaN rEaL mOnEy!!!! now give me some real money for my fake money!

>In a meeting with designers and contractors, Jackie tells the group that she intends Versailles to stay in her family for generations

I see plenty of others enjoyed it, but I couldn’t even make it through 2 episodes. Bored to death.

Why would they when it’s clearly working for them? H:FW might be a fine game but come award time it’s not going to be the game everyone remembers.

Maybe they should try making a game that’s notable and interesting instead of just a polished up version of every other open world game that already exists?

Don’t forget ‘3000 things I wish someone had told me before I took 3 steps in Elden RIng’

It doesn’t do a ‘different style’ it does the same exact style that every other checklist heavy, UI-ridden UBIworld game has done since AC2, it just does it with better production values. Same reason I couldn’t finish Horizon 1, it’s rote, it’s tired, and I’ve done it all tens of times before.

My first, biggest, and probably most important tip would be to just not care if you die. Why do you get anxious about death in a game? Well, in other games it’s a failure state; you might get a game over or sent back to the start or otherwise punished. What happens in Elden Ring? You lose a bit of forward progress,
