THIS AIN'T GAME OF THRONES SON.

I'm not entirely convinced Charlie's hand would've said anything, to be honest. Situation would've been similar, Charlie would still die - but I don't think the scene would've been the same, with the #NotPennysBoat.

Understandable!

Original plan: small-time character, would've died in season 3

I don't dislike Ben / Michael Emerson, he just doesn't even cross my mind when I think of my favorite characters or actors on this show - the show was brilliant for a full season and a half before he was even introduced after all.

I'm not going to have this argument until later when we get to the Henry Gale episodes, because my memory is too flimsy on these episodes.

Of course, what I would've wanted to see more than anything, would've been Penny's reaction from learning that Desmond had died. Something tells me awesomeness would've happened. Oh well.

The actress who plays Penny has said that, originally, they planned for her to be a MUCH bigger character with flashbacks and whatnot, all later on - but to just have that super minimal part in season 2/3 first. (in a sense, the actress was screwed. Whoops)

I've said it before and i'll say it again, Michael Emerson is overrated.

SituationOwhere pretty much sums it up.

Yeah, at the time - the advertisements were promising THE OTHERS ATTACK and "SOME ANSWERS WILL BE REVEALED"

To be fair though, the whole DON'T USE THE COMPUTER thing went no where. Why the hell was that in the original orientation film…? Wat. JUST WAT.

I always felt these two episodes were a drag. They're good, and have nothing wrong with them specifically - they just were always "oh, right - these episodes" every time i've watched the show.

Peggy Olson is the best.

Jeyne Jeyne, rhymes with pain.

Oh, I forgot about that. Still post-Nathan though.

Some of Ben's lines come off amazing, but some like the fate line and the "Got any milk" just annoy me.

Wasn't Awake like, some stupid cop drama though - when nobody interested in that premise wants to watch boring police work? I only saw an ep or two, and it was when the show first came out / while intoxicated so I don't entirely remember them.

I agree with every single word you just wrote sir. :)

Plus, he also built himself a reputation as a primadonna because of the constant well-documented drama between him and the Lost crew/cast.
