Oh man, I never did get around checking this one out specifically. I'm assuming you've seen lots of interviews, panels, commentaries, etc. - do you know if this contains plenty of info I wouldn't have likely seen elsewhere, or is it a bunch of regurgitated info? Thanks. :)

Honestly, while I agree with TMIAD, by seasons 4/5 - the show has SOOOOO many fucking problems, that this one doesn't even register as a problem in my head anymore.

Oh man, 25 minutes. Come back tomorrow, and i'll have watched this whole video and said something about this by then :P

She was contracted for one season, but Lost was a show that changed contracts every year. Other than Terry O' Quinn, and later on Mat Fox and Michael Emerson, no actors were contracted for more than three seasons at a time - it was all either one or two season contracts.

Everything about Jacob / the Man in Black makes me want to puke everywhere.

Libby was killed off to make it more surprising, and so they could have Hurley involved in the finale by being part of the team. Damon confirmed as much years later in an interview. :/

The weird thing is, Lost had a committee-type deal of writers. So it had to have been agreed on by the majority for it to have happened…. Just, WAT.

For sure, her vast unpopularity among fans is most DEFINITELY both the reason for her s2 demise(along with the DUI) and her being reduced to a two bit-role after she joins the main beach crowd.

Abandoned is a great episode.

He plays painfully mediocre, forgettable villains in everything apparently.

Agreed. Amazing performances by Naveen, Maggie and Michelle.

I loved The Other 48 Days when it aired, but in hindsight, it's one of my least favorite episodes.

Not to mention, her disappearance literally does not make any sense whatsoever. Even if they used tazer magic like they used to capture Jack and Company in the season 2 finale, she would've made some sort of noise - and they would've had to retrieve her.

Lol "good reason"

My one big problem, character wise, with the writing of the show is that they never STUCK with the dramatic decisions they did with them.

Yeah the worst part of Further Instructions is how Charlie respects Locke by the end of it. WHAT.

Honestly, considering the show had an entire staffmember dedicated to fact-checking and keeping inconsistencies from happening - I really feel like they had no excuse for all this silliness.

Honestly, the show made two crucial mistakes with F+W/TLC:

Lost has never been a show that really paid much attention to timing. From Charlotte not being born yet(she gives her birthdate) when Daniel sees her as a six year old in Dharmaville, to the LOL NIGHT TO DAY TO NIGHT TO DAY transitions in Do No Harm.

I've said it on previous reviews. I have an essay defending Fire + Water / The Long Con that i've written up, and I can't wait to finally post it when that review comes. :D
