I'm 100% on board with the idea that the only way the series could end was with Duchovny and Mulder back. I never was an avid watcher of the Brady Bunch. I may have seen an episode or two here and there, but I enjoyed seeing Scully and Skinner so giddy and liked Doggett's joy at finally getting the hang of being an X Files agent. That was the draw for me this episode.

I remember reading that Anderson had specific clauses in her contract for season 9 that would allow her to spend more time away from the set and with her daughter. And, IIRC, she signed for season 9 during season 8 which explains the introduction of Reyes when we got her.

Not according to the Season 10 comics!

Yeah, I agree with Cynicalwords here for the most part. Here's my take on the last four seasons:

I'd give him a pass, but then I'm not really the jealous type. "Sure, honey, say goodbye to your former girlfriend who's dead. It's not like I have to worry about you trying to date a ghost, right?"

I have no idea if the writers will resist pairing Stefan and Caroline. I hope they either A) refuse to give in to the temptation or B) if they absolutely must go there, they drop the idea of Stefan and Elena completely and commit to it.

Glee writing and characterization has so many problems it's not worth butchering the alphabet to further elucidate on that point.

My honest opinion is that it wouldn't have mattered if they'd introduced Doggett earlier. Here's a few things they could have done to make the transition an easier pill to swallow:
